Last night, I enjoyed the 13th Annual Grand Taiko Festival at Miller Outdoor Theater in Hermann Park, performed by Kaminari Taiko of Houston. My experience of their music was powerful, ecstatic and mildly orgasmic. Yes, you read me right. The world is a waiting lover, and I intend to touch the world and enjoy receiving its touch in every possible moment.
I've become sensitive enough to energy that I could feel the drums' rhythms dancing through my brain. Mmmmm...delicious
Kaminari Taiko also delighted me by presenting aerial silk performers from ImaginAerial of New York. Imagine a cross between pole dancing and acrobatics performed on dual silk panels suspended from the ceiling. Veeeeery sexy!
